LVT and sheet vinyl can both work well in healthcare. The better choice depends on where the flooring is going, how the space is used and what the project needs from the floor over its lifetime.

What Is the Difference Between LVT and Sheet Vinyl in Healthcare?

The biggest difference is how the two flooring types are made and installed.

Sheet vinyl is supplied in rolls and is generally bonded to the subfloor. Seams can be welded and the material can be coved up walls where the specification requires it.

Rigid core LVT is supplied as individual planks or tiles. Impervia uses a rigid composite stone core with an integrated IXPE acoustic backing and a push-fit installation system.
